 map rotation changes

I changed up the rotation a "little" bit. Cool

I've been getting nagged to add some more maps. And I believe the consensus is that we had way too many Conquest maps.

This new map rotation should address both of those. thumbs up


Here are all the changes....

Maps Removed:
Mygeeto conquest
Yavin 4 conquest
Coruscant conquest
Jabba's Palace conquest
Death Star conquest
Dagobah CTF


Maps Added:
Hoth Conquest (CPs are modded and no walkers or snow speeders!)
Felucia CTF (we'll give it a try....)
Hoth Hunt (Only good Hunt map)


I changed both Polis Massa maps to CTF.

I also moved the map order around some so the good ones aren't all lumped together.


Plus, I switched the Heroes back to 40 kills instead of 50 points so they won't come out so easily!


There's probably more, but I forget right now.

Oh yeah, Felucia and Hoth hunt aren't staying if we all agree that they suck.

Let's give it a week or so and see if Felucia CTF is OK. I don't think I've actually tried the CTF version of that map. And I haven't done Hoth Hunt in over a year. I wanna see if it's still fun. I can adjust the settings for that too.

If they're not popular, then I'll start a poll to replace or remove them.

i say yay! to all the changes lol hm hey is there a way to add the acklays to felucia cuz that would definitly boost the fun! i know there ais but im wonderin if they can b modded to come out on just that map lol im guessing no huh?

I agree with vash on the ackaly part he and I both agree that ackaly might make that map alot better.

To bad Geonosis conquest is gone. I guess I cant spawn camp with the AT TE anymore, but if the AT AT is not taken away from Hoth CTF..... Twisted Evil

I agree with all the maps you added, but completely disagree with the maps you took off and what you did to Geonosis.

Alright, I switched Geonosis back to conquest (that mode is better). I removed Mygeeto conquest and put Mos Eisley conquest back into the rotation. And switched both Polis Massa maps to CTF.


The maps in red can be replaced or removed.
The maps in cyan can have their mode changed (CTF, Conquest, Hunt).

All the rest are probably going to stay but they could be moved around if need be.
But one thing, I definitely like the way it goes Polis Massa, Space and then starts a new rotation with Death Star and Tantive IV. That part will always stay. Cool

The rest is subject to change if the rotation causes the server to die down in certain parts.

And I'm still undecided about Hoth Conquest without AT-ATs and Snow Speeders. It was definitely different and pretty fun using a grunt most of the time. But I don't know how popular it'll be cuzz there's really no way to get cheap kills except for the turrets.grn-lol

You know, it's funny, just the other day I thought to myself 'I haven't played Felucia on any servers in a while..' We'll see how that map works out on Arena, no? I'm not too picky but the new rotation seems fine to me thumbs up

I think the only time I've played it online was when we did a "Red Rover" game (Hide and Seek). jazzhands
I do remember that I didn't like it all that much in single-player Galactic Conquest mode.
We'll see how it plays out in fast-paced multi-player....

I Still Think You Should Put Mos Eisley Assault On there That Always Draws People In And Always Helps To Have Some Practice With Heros
And Fel CTF Is Interesting Its Harder And I Like Harder DeathStar And What Not Are To Simple And Easy Need Harder Places Not Easier

well the crashes have significantly devreased and i kinda like knowing whats next lol i wouldnt mind seeing assualt cuz i cant stand how modded all the other places has it (insert rant here) as 4 fel i havent been able to tell if it kills the server or not so ill keep watch and then give my opinion lol

yes but after u gone thru all the maps about 60 or so more times in a week u dont want to know whats next anymore lol soooo boring but yes assault mods are somewhatr annoying some are fun tho like the force lighting = force push instead or lighting lol thats really fun

Well, there's your problem. I only get an hour or so to play and that happens less and less each week.
I want the server to be on FUN maps during those few times! And now it is...
