I have infinate jetpack not ammo. I don't know if I can set infinate ammo with HEX editing. I can do it with Cheat Engine but I prefer to use all HEX edits.

You may be thinking of my rapidfire Trishot mod. The Trishot had infinate ammo in the first place. Fot that I increased the rate of fire, reduced the heat per shot and increased the heat recovery rate. One of my favorite mods. It kicks ass! Very Happy

I did boost the max ammo in some classes (ain't sayin which) so it may appear neverending, but you will run out.

Then you definitely don't want to be on the republic side on my server. I did the Trishot mod to balance against the infinite jetpack mod.

I put one of my modded space maps in rotation on my server last night. I chose Mygeeto assault because I wanted one with the large CIS hangar and lots of frigates orbiting about, very busy with lots of stuff to blow up. It appeared to be a success. There was quite a firefight in the CIS hangar, and of course spawn camping, but nobody left. cheers

to enhance the map why dont u put a death star in the middle you have to destroy to win? /the death star would shoot everybody and you would try to take it down by shooting it and avoiding the other team. Whoever destroys it first would win. Good idea? scratch

You can do that level of mod's on the PC and Xbox versions but what we can do on the PS2 is very limited. The PS2 version was never intended to be modded. What we do is more of a hack. We HEX edit the binary files and with a lot of trial and error find settings we can modify and things we can turn on and off by manipulating strings in the file. It's impossible to add something that does not exist in the game and difficult to swap things out.

The PS2 players got the short end of the stick when it comes to modding. No

Fall damage such as dying when you jump from the bridge of an Imperial cruiser to the main fuselage, or fall damage such as dying when you fall into the area below a shield generator? (Or after walking through a door where the room behind is missing).

I think I can suppress the second one by removing death regions. As for the first one I would have to look into it some more. I think that may be a default property of the com_inf_default class in the ingame.lvl file but I haven’t found it. Jet troopers do not appear to be effected by fall damage but I haven’t found any property that would effect that either.

yea when u fall ilke off of a ledge and live but take damage
make all classses like jets or fetts and dont take fall damage
and is it possible to give all classes the jetpack ability?

That is one of my goals but I haven't found a way to do it.

I have a mod on the PC vesion called "fake console" with an option to give all classes jet pack flight. It may not be possible on the PS2 version.

otherwise known as a jet trooper except it has less armor so it is faster but has less health

Come to think of it, I haven't tried it on a Droideka yet. That should be interesting. Suspect Technicaly the Droideka is classed as a vehicle.
